Breakfast Brawl is some very fun Friday Flash Fun Mike Tyson's Punch-Out style. This is a direct link to the .swf...if you'd like to play the original (small and full of ads) hit it up here.

Thats pretty awesome. Graphics are hilarious... maybe if Pepsi Blue (tm) had a viral marketing scheme like this sucker we wouldn't be using it as the archetype of all things bad and corporate. I was just playing Punch-Out!!! yesterday and that game is bomb. This is clearly an homage.

Can anyone beat that SOB of a bagel? My punches just don't land, and I can't get any frusionators to get him down.

Where's the viral Duck Hunt? I would buy anything to keep that fucking dog from laughing at me.

I beat the bagel! Check out the high scores for RJK, number nine, right where I like to be. Shame the score is just for the bagel fight, or I would be number 1 for sure... haha.

Okay, here is how to beat the bagel... Wait for his cut-open move, dodge it three times, then go to town. Hopefully you can land six punches which is two [product placement]inators. These land no matter what, so have it. Lather, rinse repeat.

Oh, and this site will totally get busted by CARU

Hey kids, have another! They make you STRONG... not fat.

You can land quite a few punches on the bagel without waiting for his special. Just look at where he's got his hands. If he's blocking low, punch high. If high, punch low.

He's no Soda Popinski.

cool, and I think it's actually fairly effective marketing if you're already familiar with the Frusion rap (eat something healthy for breakfast). Kudos to the ad firm and the flash designers, this is nice work.

I went 3 rounds, where's my decision? WHERE'S MY @%#^%+& DECISION!

I thought Papi C. DeBagel was easy, though perhaps it's b/c it took me a few times to beat Dave "Egg and Cheese Sandwich" Jenkins.

9141!

The bagel is vulnerable to two upper lefts followed by a lower right. Hit him with this whenever he isn't protecting his upper body, then frusion him.

9141 isn't up there anymore... I just got 8500 and it shows me at number 1. It also shows my old score, dropped to number ten. (closed the browser, went out for over 2 hours, came back) Maybe it's the kind of thing where every score is a high score, and there's a cookie saved on my computer or what....

I don't know if it's satisfying or sad that I'm good at this game....

Yeah, I got 9187 now, but I don't think high scores can be seen publicly. You get points for connecting with punches, so to get really high scores, you have to go without using frusions.

"Use bold, satisfying [product] to overpower your opponents."

Heh. I love adspeak.

When you go into round two against the blueberry muffin one, he says "I'm going to tear your head off and leave the rest." As dirty as playing this made me feel (for pepsi blue reasons) I still found that wildly entertaining.

I can accept most of the nonsense of this game, but why is the muffin dreaming of horses? WHY!?

OK, so now I want a muffin, a bagel, and a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. I have no idea what they were actually trying to sell me. But it was fun.

Once upon a time, there was a World Domination Design Group game that was remarkably like this (called "Savage Boxing," if I recall) that's now died from the nets... They eventually turned it into a Gameboy cart...
Argh. Must beat the bagel...
