Bush Spams
Cam got it, I got it too. Did you get it? How many votes will Bush loose because long time netizens have always pledged to never ever support anyone who sends spam e-mail? Enough I hope.

Yes, and hopefully long time netizens will be smart enough to look at that email and realise that there's no way of connecting it with the Bush campaign.

Long-time netizens, yes. Relative newbies, no.

they are all insipid idiots. though i have not received this spam, i can tell you that last night george bush, carl levin, and several others "phoned" me ala telemarketing droids and played thier pre-recorded spiels for the benefit of my answering machine. clueless schmucks, every one of them!

It is not that Dubya sent the spam, but that spammers want you to vote for him. That is the message that long time netizens will pick up. If it is good for spammers, then it is bad for the net.

Yes. Bush supports spammers and hates fluffy bunnies.

I think that most "long time netizens" will write off whatever message spammers are trying to send. I sincerely doubt that they were really trying to get people to vote Bush - the brief message is a big tip off.

In other news, Gore supporters hacked the GOP website! Hackers want you to support Gore! Good for hackers=good for net?

How many long time netizens even considered voting for Bush in the first place?

The demographic is too small to be significant, anyway.
