Bye, bye Pets.com Personally, I won't miss that damn sock puppet dog!
That dog was okay, but there are better sock puppet dogs out there.
Besides, they are going to be selling the rights to the dog.

I was just sure I was giving them enough business to keep them going! My final pets.com purchase: hamster/gerbil food, corn cob bedding and of course, a puppet.

I saw that the other day too...but I thought it was Petopia's offices.

I wonder if that lawsuit against Conan had anything to do with it.

This is the kind of news story that invites people to write headlines with bad metaphors.
My own contribution: "Pets.com Goes To Doggie Heaven." Or, alternately, "Pets.com Put To Sleep."

I buy a lot of pet products, but I never bought anything at pets.com, because I could never find the exact kitty litter I needed (it's a long story, but there's only one brand my cats like), and the site was atrociously slow, probably due to their use of BroadVision store backend.
