Confessions Of A Super Hero : "Seems I’ve misplaced my cape again. Gamma Girl says I should get one of those gizmos from Sharper Image that you attach to your keys and whistles when you push a button on the base station. Anesthesia said I wasn’t about to “buy a gizmo”, as I had a perfectly good Super Lab in the Hero Cave. Sometimes she can be such a nudzh. Like I know how to make a key whistle."

Best read chronologically, although it is your 20 minutes =)

Now there's a meme that's due for growing old.

But, somebody needs to invent a blog format / plug-in / whatever, where the first time you log in, it shows you the first entry as today, and then further entries are updated in real-time. It's the only way these fictional blogs are going to get any better, and it's one of the only ways to keep the authors interested enough to keep writing. There is a problem with developing back-story and a plot when you know most new readers are only going to read the last three entries you made in a backwards order.

Also, no new entries for a month. Please compare and contrast with the quickly popular zombie blog and my own poor foray into the genre. It's easy to get tired of writing this format of blogging really quickly.

Although, as a counterpoint, the HULK blog seems to be going strong.

More on the zombie blog here.

The zombie blog would appear to be, um, undead. Or someone whacked off its head with a cricket bat.

But dude, capes are a bad idea. You are better off without that thing! Didn't you see "The Incredibles"?

...or read The Watchmen?

Reminds me a lot of the extras on The Incredibles DVD. Pretty cute but it would be nice if it was still be updated.

I'm updating. I'm updating!

Yes, this is my site (qwip, hence the "qwip.org" website). Didn't expect to see it on a Meta FPP, though. It really is just something I did in an evening while I was playing around with some blog software on my new hosting site. I expanded the dates over a period of months just so it didn't look weird and so I could play with all the doo-dads on WordPress. I agree with seanboy that it would be nice if it could be reverse cronology, as it would make it a lot easier to read.

I made up the topic as I thought the Incredibles was pretty funny and I needed something to write about. No other reason. My own thoughts and life are defintely not blog-worthy. I haven't advertised the site and haven't told anyone about it, so I was suprised to see it get a post here. It's just a test site that I am playing around with.

Anyway, I'm glad if anyone finds it amusing and I will try to add to it on a more regular basis now that I know people are actually looking. But please, don't take it as a serious project as some of the other like-blogs seem to be. Not the intent.

(on preview, I see that deemer and the person who has put a comment on my blog are one and the same. Thanks for the nice comments!)

It could do with a few less fart jokes.

Well, I'll consider myself "fooled" by the manual manipulation of dates on the posts =) Regardless, I really enjoyed the writing style and the topic was great! I was pleased to see your response and even more please that another entry had been posted on the blog. Looking forward to future confessions...

To all: as this was my first FPP - please be lenient *grin*

I'm afraid this has more to do with the reality of my own age and the content of fiber in my diet. Life becomes art and all that. Isn't the old adage, "write what you know"?
