From squid vendors to the odd graffito and manhole cover, this expatriate snaps oddities and noise of life in Taiwan with the help of his little toy Holga.

For more pictures of Taiwan, visit the Flickr Taiwan group (I'm a member, so somewhat self-link-ish).

In case it's not cool for Poagao to link to his own photos on his site, check them out. He's a pro and his photography is great.

I miss my Taiwanese ex-girlfriend. She was my little squid :(

My girlfriend, a keen photographer, doesn't like Poago's work at all.
But I do, and she doesn't count anyway.
excellent

She likes her Holga.
I don't, it's photography via cheap, nasty and ill-tempered chance, but I don't count anyway.
excellent

Thanks, Jiawen, but that photo page is in bad need of an update. I've been using Flickr for new stuff for a while.

NinjaPirate, a lot of Taiwanese don't really like my pictures, which is fine. It's not like I'm a professional or rely on it to eat.

But back to the point of this thread...Taiwan is indeed a very interesting place where lots of photo opportunities exist in perhaps a greater density than most places.
