Here's your weekend project: Clare Crespo's Jell-O Aquarium recipe. (More fun Clare recipes here, here, and at her site Flash and sound).

That aquarium is too cool. I want to try that sometime.

Twinkie sushi--it doesn't get any more bizarre than that.

How amazingly uninformative.

Recipes without quantities, items whose whole novelty is about the appearance, yet there are no pictures of the finished product. Anatomical heart shaped sugar cookies? Hell, I'll just buy premade sugar cookie dough. Show me what they're supposed to look like.

These recipes seem really cool. It's just the site needs serious help.

Um, well they do have graphics there which give you an idea.

Yes, her site (last link) should have photos, but the other three links have images.

Her website is one of the most hideous things I've ever seen in twelve years of websurfing.

That caterpillar cake looks cool. For more examples of creative faux sushi, see not martha's links and photos. I don't think I'll try to make any of these any time soon but they are great eye candy.
