Very cool. The porn photos are incredible. I wish it were easier to just browse, though, without having to go back to the homepage and select a different chef.

But, I do not live in boston.

I live in Boston, but I don't eat meat. And I don't like pretentious food.

But anything that helps to end the reputation of Boston as a beans, codfish and organ meats wasteland is good.

Ooh, I love it! The pictures are great, and I really like being able to see menus for fancy-pants places before I commit to going, as I'm a rather picky eater.

thank you, thank you, growabrain! how did I not have this site in my bookmarks? I just ate at Hamersly's last weekend. OK, if I am very broke and very plump next month, it will be all your fault.

Beautiful site! Which reminds me, Boston Restaurant Week is coming up soon. You can eat at many of these restaurants for $30.05. And $20.05 for lunch.

Mayor Curley writes "I live in Boston, but I don't eat meat. And I don't like pretentious food."

Define pretentious food? I've seen very little--in fact, none--there. All I've seen so far are gorgeous presentations, and some very intriguing combinations of flavours.

dirtynumbangelboy: Mayor Curley is probably referring to places like No. 9 Park. While the food is fabulous, mouth watering, wonderful, you leave still hungry after having paid $400 for two people (including wine) and you wonder... was it all worth it?

BTW, I'm not about portions and I'm never able to finish dinner in a restaurant, but really, ONE SCALLOP for an appetizer...

Yes, but at that point you're not paying to be full, you're paying for exquisitely and expertly put together flavours and textures. You'd pay easily a couple hundred for box seats at the opera, right? Same sort of thing.
