Gender War

What happened to the black power movement? Has it turned it's attention to such pressing matters as teaching the black man how to claim, tame and train the blackwoman, rescue her from lesbian feminist witchcraft and mocking her for dying her hair piss yellow?

Let the gender war begin! (via Memepool.)

If we can all agree on anything, it's that Bill Cosby deserves blame for something.

His endorsement of the Jell-o chocolate/vanilla swirl Pudding Pop says it all with respect to the dilution of the pure Black race.

Does yo dick feel small today? Put that Lil' Kim wannabe ho back in the kitchen where she belong, dress them hamhocks in some burlap, and sing a prayer to God!!!

The white devil wants your proud African manhood to shrink down and bleach to look just like his!!!

Gotta love the Black Power Peeps...For promoting understanding in the world.

The raw unadulterated truth is there are black women who will do what he wants on the whole. He just can't afford them. Spelman girls are out of most people's brackets.

The site looks fake. But I was sort of anticipating a post like gogor's when I clicked this thread

Black feminism. Some black feminists.
I guess the idea behind this post is: look, people with crazy sexist ideas! But it's funny, because they're black!
Am I missing something?

No that's pretty much it. Look at the funny black people with their nappy hair.

The blacktown.net looks a little too obsessive to be a mere joke site.

What happened to it? The same thing that happens to every racial pride/empowerment movement...infighting among the subfactions destroys and distorts its original intent.

Actually, in one sense this site promotes a vision of racial equality. It shows that black people can be just as stupid and blinkered as everyone else.

Not to inject intellectualism into this but this is actually a somewhat interesting site. Mostly because I read this article by Debra Dickerson complaining about how black women get the short-end of the inter-racial dating stick. Her thesis is that black women are considered a lot more 'uppity' and tough, which is not much of a turn on for men, black or white. Stereotypes of black women are of being loud and domineering.

Oh well, whatever.

I might be doing some arm-waving sociology, but aren't black families matriarchal, for the most part? I have to wonder if the stereotype is justified, to the degree that black women tend to be raised to fill that kind of role.

The above photo proves that blackmen have always treated black women like Queens!!!

Well...I guess it's better than being treated like Brooklyn.

It proves that the website author found some clip art of Egyptian dynastic royalty. Right continent, wrong culture.

I think that should read more like this:
The same thing that happens to every movement...infighting among the subfactions destroys and distorts its original intent.

Contra examples welcome.

I don't know where y'all who think the site looks fake live, but it rings an all-too-familiar bell to me. These freaks are disgusting, real . . . And impotent.

Delmoi's link was really interesting. As a white guy, I do find black women unnaccessable and I think the author hits the nail on the head with some of the reasons. Thanks, Delmoi.

Why do I have the song "Vehicle" running through my head as I read this?

Then you're just not doing it right. They're just people, not magical creatures.

This is America, jonmc. No one's "just people."

Hm. Interesting Delmoi. While I'm certainly no prize, my female roommate (who is Filipino) tells me that she gets hostile stares from black women when we're out together. I don't think I'd ever get a second look, or even a first, if I was wandering the mall on my own. I don't buy the whole "they're stealing our men bit" because I've never discriminated (beyond basic attraction), but by and large no action from my sistren.
