If only they would also have extensive documentation of the frequent theater riots. As a former theater critic and current playwright, I am always disappointed that audiences are so subdued nowadays.

Moving forward a few decades, many classic movie theaters are listed at Cinema Treasures. One of the more striking is the "Pueblo Deco" style of the KiMo Theater in Albuquerque (more images here and here). Suspension of disbelief should begin the moment you glimpse the theater, si?
