Nice! I'm amazed that Newcastle makes it into the top 25 longest - I had always assumed it was one of the smaller ones. The picture of the view across the Tyne would have been much better straight down the river showing all the other bridges, though. And the Victorian station at Tynemouth certainly deserves a mention in the architecture section.

Thank you! That tickles the transit nerd in me.

One of my secret little pleasures is when the Bloor/Danforth line subway in Toronto goes underneath the bridge spanning the Don Valley. You shoot out of a dark tunnel and out into a huge arial vista.

Pity it's not on the list...

Very happy to see the Boston is nicely represented here, but the metros in Europe really blow the US ones away.

I moved to Montreal a year ago, and I got a big kick out of travelling all over the city checking out all the strange and lovely metro stations, so I really dig this site, thanks!
