Great, great post. Sometimes human beings are so easy to love.

FYI - the founder of Story Corps - David Isay - was the pioneering producer who put the power of the voice into the hands of the people whose voices you hear. He gives people tape recorders and lets them tell their own stories. You might remember this drop-dead incredible piece from a few years ago on All Things Considered.

All of David Isay's stuff is incredible, and well worth listening to. (The Execution Tapes is chilling.)
