Does anyone feel that this borders on the inappropriate for MF content? At what point is something 'blog worthy, and at what point is something just a blatant plug?

I was attempted to post a news article about this very coin a couple of days ago. Would that have been, in your eyes, appropriate? If so, what's wrong about linking the primary source instead?

I was attempted to post... Oh, never mind.

harmful: What's newsworthy or interesting about this coin? If the US Government had pressed it, that would be interesting. However, a company selling a coin AT A SPECIAL PRE-RELEASE LIMITED EDITION COLLECTOR PRICE!!! isn't very exciting to me.

Well, at this point, it certainly seems like one of the least illogical ways to settle the election.

Hey milnak, you've posted a total of 1 link so far. Chill out.

It seems someone found this story newsworthy.

It wasn't my intent to push the coin. I simply found it relevant...and marginally more interesting than the latest legal blustering. The reaction time of successful capitalistic maneuvering continues to shorten. And, as has been pointed out, many people have suggested (jokingly?) using a coin toss to settle the election.

It's interesting if someone is interested. Sheesh.

The interesting thing is a company calling itself "Washington Mint." What percentage of suckers, er, I mean customers, do you suppose think this is the US Govt.
