Hall of fame

It all started with American Pro Football. But soon inventors had one, then rockabillies and even cowgirls. Now there's even a Hall of Fame dedicated to the luminaries of network media. Seeing that's, uhm, people like us, i suppose the question is, do we agree with the list? Is anyone missing. How many of them should be deleted? And are there really no women working in this field?

The network media luminaries list is pretty uninteresting. It's just a page with links to their homepages or wikipedia entries.

There's also a National Sports Museum coming in NYC.

Hm. I was thinking that there was going to be a big museum off of some interstate dedicated to network media heroes (a "Hall Of Fame." But instead, it is just a list? How is this list like any of the other museums linked to?

Cool that they threw in Walter Benjamin, but pretty scattershot otherwise. Many of those folks are notable, but not in the same categories with each other.

And none are in the same league as Benjamin.

I want to see the Wikipedia Hall of Fame.

Every day a different lineup of luminaries!

As far as I'm concerned, if there ain't no actual "Hall" then it ain't no Hall of Fame.

soyjoy: Nah - it'd have the same luminaries, just their bios would completely change every day.

All the net artists in the non-hall are mince, even judged by the standards of artists who chose to call themselves 'net artists'.
