Unless I misread it, the only LAPD character who was never referred to by his full name was "Sgt. Perez".

Check out the info page about "MacArthur Park," the pseudo-documentary on the production company's website.

From that page: "Of course, it's a fictional piece, despite looking like a documentary from a parallel universe. Look for MacArthur Park on the film festival circuit in early 2001 ... and cropping up around the Web now."
