Joe Rogan's site Comic, actor, smart and funny guy. Carrying a bit of the torch left by Bill Hicks, Lenny Bruce, et al...(careful, may be some nudity on the site).
Joe will always live in my mind as...."Joe". From NewsRadio.
Hot computer, coming through!!

If you only know Joe Rogan from Newsradio (on which he was, to be certain, hilarious), you're missing out. His standup is incredible. A must-see if he's ever in your neck of the woods.

I know he’s trying to emulate Bill Hicks, but everything I’ve seen him do isn’t half as smart. It’s funny, just not intelligent.

True, but he's a marked improvement over Denis Leary,
who stole Bill Hicks's material and didn't credit him
at all. Joe had the decency to acknowledge his debt
to Hicks, at least.
Speaking of Hicks, check out www.sacredcowproductions.com,
where they have some great bits not on any of the 4
Rykodisc albums. Plus, an interview with Joe Rogan
about why Hicks was so great.

Chee! There needs to be a warning -- the upcoming flash features a colour-changing, shape-shifting, rapidly-spinning animation that serves no purpose and may induce headaches, nausea and seizures. Click enter at your own peril.
I have a migraine now. Thanks Joe, ya schmuck!

That Rykodisc anthology is f'n great. They added some surreal transistions in there, which don’t mesh very well, but Hicks really shines through. And I totally agree with you about Leary. He really started sucking after he had the kids.
