There are some great views, especially the one of the DMV. That was a great idea.

I gotta agree with the caption about DMVcam. That's hilarious. Great post.

Good stuff, esp. inasmuch as "interesting" is quite an apt description for the choices.

I'm sorry, but the Boston University webcab, while I make look at it to contemplate my college years (mostly unpleasant-to-horrible), how does that get to be a "most interesting" Webcam?!

There's no boobies here at all. :-(

Does it seem odd to anyone that three of the "most interesting" webcams are located in TN?

Eeee! Piranhas!

Those are the best 25 webcams they could come up with? This must be why I don't look at webcams.

Well, let's see, 25 webcams for 8 years, yeah, I guess the medium is well-depleted of premium content.
Still, I bookmarked the RRS James Clark Ross Webcam, because I, in fact, do want to see antartica, and I suppose that's the closest I'm going to get for a good long while.
thanks for that.

Thanks for the views of Snow in Germany and Austria--I love those little towns..

The DMV cam. It frightens me.

My personal favourite is the only webcam I know of that lets you look at an active volcano:

Mount Saint Helens.

It's neat to see the growing magma dome. Neat, and a bit ominous.

Of course, it's not very interesting at night...

Hey! I can see our new waste of taxpayer dollars convention center from here! Neat!

Hey, remember JenniCam?
posted by First Post at 7:43 PM on December 27, 2005

Actually, I've tried to forget Jennicam. You had to go and remind me. Thanks, you turkey.

Although, it's refreshing to see that none of the "top 25 webcams" are camgirls. Ever hear the phrase "camgirl tired?" You know, it's where you only have the energy to get up at noon and post some Emo mood crap on your webcam before sitting there with the same "Woe is me. Life is pain." look for 7 hours.

Some of these cameras are interesting. The DMV one is occasionally amusing.

Hey, the KoalaCam has an Amazon wish list that includes thong panties.

This one is pretty cool from Vancouver. I use it as my desktop at work when I am stuck inside.

What I'd love to see: from the jailcam, an officer saying "book 'em Dano!"

What? No Libby Hoeler?

This beluga whale cam at the Vancouver Aquarium is fantastic, especially for days when dealing with difficult clients. Very calming!

Crap, I can't find the one from the pier-based store that was directly in line with Rita's path, but that was some nail-biting nothing going on while we waited to see if it would be taken out. The various NOLA cams that interdictor put up immediately following the storm were pretty compelling as well.
