File under "LazyWeb 2.0": expialidocio.us. Maps your del.icio.us tagging habits over time. Not mindblowingly useful, but nifty nonetheless.

Note: from the same guys (it seems) as yesterday's link. I hope that's cool. Really though, this guy should've posted it.

I like the general idea of being able to browse tag clouds over time, but for me (on a mac, which generally sucks at Flash) it's slow to the point of unusable. Plus, it seems like it's oriented towards trying to show you shifts in your tagging patterns over time. If that's really the goal, then make a tool that actually does it. Let me select a tag and watch my usage frequency, or color the tags based on how frequently I've used them in the last 60 days, or something.

Also, I like extispicious (for my delicious) more. It's simple, loads quickly, and communicates basically the same idea minus the activity graph (which is cool, but poorly executed).

I'm not giving them my del.icio.us username and password.

Is del.icio.us something would have to have heard of before to understand why I would want to track my tagging habits?

Not only that, Balisong, you'd need access to a microcomputer of some sort.

grouse, here is their privacy statement, make of it what you will.

Nice... in Firefox, it doesn't seem to do anything once you login, and under IE it tries to download it as a file! Fun! :)

Won't load for me. I'd really like to try it out though. Well, perhaps my 5000 or so links has something to do with it.

I'm behind the times, I'm still using backflip.

I wonder if this is on the radar of the copyright enforcers at Disney? Little ol' me is one thing, but a registered domain name might, um, draw their attention.

grouse: Change your del.icio.us password to something temporary. Give it to expialidocio.us. Let it do its thing. Change your password back. :)
