CueCats Held Hostage! A motley mix of left-wingers and computer geeks plans to march on the offices of the Dallas Morning News this weekend, armed with pet carriers filled with CueCats, in order to protest what they see as pro-GOP slants in the paper's reporting. If the paper doesn't agree to their demands for more left-favorable reporting, the CueCats will be executed! Why CueCats? Because the company that owns the News has been plugging CueCats like crazy. Fat chance getting the DMN to change their pro-GOP ways. You'll have an easier time convincing the Chicago Tribune to endorse a pederast* for President.

Be first on your block to comment on WHY the Trib religiously endorses a Republican for President every 4 years!

* The publisher of the Trib actually used this very word when he explained who the paper would endorse if not a Republican. No lie.

The Trib once labeled my grandfather, running for school board in his leafy south suburb, a "Communist" solely on the basis that he was a professor at the University of Chicago.

Kinda miss the days of the Colonel. Now it's just crypto-conservative.
