Ugh. Please don't let this become a dittohead love nest.

Well, I'm not going to listen to his commentary, but the summary text just says:
At one point, I jumped up and said, "Justice Kennedy just blew David Boies out of the water! You watch. The punditry are going to be focused on this all night."
And all I can say is "so?" How does that add to the discourse?

I knew all this voyeuristic snooping on Free Republic would lead to no good.

He's alright, except for that nazi thing, ohh and that racism, and that...

Woo! Justice Kennedy asked a tough question and Rush noticed that it was a tough question! Genius!

Now if only we could get such penetrating court analysis from NPR.

I listed to Rush for about 3 years, I never heard him once utter a racist comment, or pro-Nazi propaganda for that matter.

I'm always amused when his opponents discredit him on fabricated charges. Then I wonder if most of his critics have bothered to listen to him for an extended period of time or are just regurgitating what others say?

His observance here is nothing to get all excited about though.

Tiaka, out of curiousity what are your sources on Limbaugh's being pro-Nazi? Can you post a link regarding this? I'm not defending him, matter of fact I hate him; the point is that as a liberal, I cringe to hear fellow liberals make sweeping generalizations about 'hate crimes' and 'racism' when it doesn't always apply. That shrill attitude is generally what's made 'Liberal' a dirty word, among other things.

Limbaugh constantly uses the term “femi-nazi”. If he used that argument here, we’d invoke Godwin. He doesn’t challenge ideas, he attacks people. Hence the racism and personal attacks from a man full of hate.

One of the things I want to do before I die is conduct the Homeless Olympics...[Events would include] the 10-meter Shopping Cart Relay, the Dumpster Dig, and the Hop, Skip and Trip." (L.A. Times, 1/20/91)

On NAFTA: "If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people--I'm serious, let the unskilled jobs, let the kinds of jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do--let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work." (Radio show quoted in FRQ, Fall/93)

Speculating on why a Mexican national won the New York marathon: "An immigration agent chased him for the last 10 miles." (USA Weekend, 1/26/92)

"Kurt Cobain was, ladies and gentleman, I just--he was a worthless shred of human debris..." (TV show, 4/11/94)

When a gay person turns his back on you, it is anything but an insult ; it's an invitation." (Quoted in FRQ, Summer/94)

"Here is a Limbaugh joke: Everyone knows the Clintons have a cat. Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is a White House dog?" And he puts up a picture of Chelsea Clinton. Chelsea Clinton is 13 years old.

This thread may be Rush's last, slender rescue from his seemingly inexorable slide into irrelevancy. Does anyone even take him seriously anymore? Even Republicans seem embarrassed by him these days.

Slide into irrelevancy? According to Drudge, Rush is still the highest paid radio broadcaster, his salary being a percentage of revenue he generates.
