These can not come close to pondering a comparison to the original Atari Force comics or the regular DC series that cropped up in the 80s as a followup.

Not that I don't absolutely love any use of The Yellow Menace, for some sick reason.

Does anyone else find the blue escape pod at the bottom of the page in the second link a little phallic?

selfnoise: I remember seeing that "comic" in the game magazines of the time.

By the way, is it just me or does Tony seem a little light in the loafers? They keep putting him in the weak poses, he spends all his day in the kitchen, in the Star Wars-ish frame he's the stand-in for Leia....

Now we just need a link to the racy Neo-Geo ads that used to run in Amiga World.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Between the Fu Manchu crap and the fact that (in 1989) they were showing 2600-level games as being in competition with the NES (and for that matter the Master System, and maybe the Genesis - can't remember exactly when it came out in that year) is just ridiculous.

(I know by '89 Atari was up to the 7800, but come on, those kids sure look as if they're playing a 2600 game like Combat or something.)-
