Building blocks of knowledge

We all have a lot of questions that are very hard to answer. Like how to prepare cereal, how to prepare a Pop Tart correctly, and how to walk like a ballerina. Luckily, wikiHow is there to help us dummies.

I'm quite surprised that this is being done by one of the big existing "how to" sites. Very smart though.

Are there people who know how to use a computer well enough to find and read How to Prepare Cereal who do not know and cannot figure out how to "prepare" cereal? Might not such people, when they read "Assemble toppings such as strawberries, bananas or any other food to enhance the flavor," start throwing pigs' knuckles and whole turkeys and pickled eel on their Lucky Charms? Wouldn't such people, when they got to "Eat and enjoy the entire bowl," die of injuries to their digestive tract because they attempted to eat and enjoy the bowl?

Someone needs to read "How to be funny without telling jokes".

I've heard that an incorrectly prepared PopTart might burn your house down.

I'm confused about the difference between How to Brush Your Teeth and How to Brush Your teeth.

I'm picturing somebody walking like a ballerina in a Nazi SS uniform. Was there a "tutu" option?

Yes, you might accidently create a Strawberry Pop Tart Blowtorch.

Ah. A joke. Sorry. I tried the first couple of links, didn't see anything funny, and figured it was straight. Bad but straight.

What's to prepare? You just eat them straight from the box. Toasting them is guilding the lily.

"How To Woo A Girl" is clearly not aimed at jonmc:

For Valentine's Day, don't just buy her a teddy bear or a carnation - be elaborate. Promise to take her to Burning Man!

And if you want to appear rich and/or woo a girl, you must learn How to Pick Your Nose Inconspicuously.

Some good political advice, too.

Oh, and pracowity, I think your first reaction was correct. It may be a joke, but it's not intended as a joke.
