What the hell was going on

My team sucked.

The bits of colored light on the side indicate where everybody has their mouse pointed. As you move your mouse you can see the color concentrations changing.

Eh? Doesn't do much on my screen. Do you need IE or something?

Neat idea; fun for about 20 seconds.

Hmm, my version of flash strangely showed a ball but no colours, reinstall did the trick. Pretty cool. I'm sure this idea could be taken a lot further... how about giant hive-mind controlled robot fighting?

strangely fascinating. and about as productive as that alphabet rearrangement game. my team's paddle pulled off some killer spin somehow. I'd like to know how that happened. still lost.

This would be much better with a team chat, and a taunt chanel to talk to the opposing team.

how do you control it? is it aggregate movement with cursor keys?

offtopic: Thanks a lot for that link, MetaMonkey! (and interestingly enough, because it's online for free, I'm buying a paper copy...)

I was surprised at first because the blue team kept missing, then I realized it was afflicted with a bunch of PK players. i.e. player-kill mode -- people trying to pull the paddle where it shouldn't be.
