Dave Werner has an awesome portfolio site. He uses Flash video to present the back story on his projects.

This guy is great. Too bad he'll probably charge an arm and a leg for a logo. I need one for something I'm working on.

I like the "about" video... "I was like 'holy crap, i can make money doing this stuff?'" .. haha

He's got a number of neat videos on Google too.

A branch of my company does corporate identity and brand development out of our New York office. They are one of the leaders in their field. I've sent them a link to Dave's resume and his online portfolio for a position they are hiring for right now. I think we'd all agree that they'd be lucky to have him! (Plus, it would be kinda cool to get the referral bonus).

I'm blown away!

He's hired! Unfortunately, my portfolio wasn't as good as his when I was 25, so I must now work my ass off to quickly raise myself in the industry so that I can hire him and take credit for the awesome find. Then we'll introduce a lifesize Wendy's Wendy and totally kick CP+B's Burger King's ass with her. Oh yeah!

Excuse me. What does this mean? Then we'll introduce a lifesize Wendy's Wendy and totally kick CP+B's Burger King's ass with her. Oh yeah!

Damn, don't if I want to be him, marry him or hit him. Amazing talent though... he obviously loves what he does, and it shows. It will be interesting to see what else he designs in his lifetime - for those who missed it, his blog's at Okay Samurai (his company).

Christ, I'm going to have to find a new line of work. He's really quite good.

tellurian: The life-sized, oversized head Burger King is the work of Crispin Porter + Bogusky. It was my fantasy of creating a rival life-sized Wendy and kicking some hip advertising ass.
