iPod film fest

I guess it had to happen eventually, but an iPod Film Festival has launched. You can watch them online (sans iPod) or offline (mit iPod!), and they've got indie and student films as well as music videos, all formated for the new players. The music videos are surprisingly good.

It's like the mobile DJ's out there using a couple of iPods (see iDJ) for their live events.

Dude! You are using MP3's! Grow up for Christ's sake! Get some quality in your project! It is't that cost prohibitive to have JUST A LITTLE QUALITY these days.

Oh well, keep playing with Play-Doh, kiddies.

Meh... meh... meh...

You know, quality is really just so unemportant for people. Just look at how successfull myspace has become.

I don't much see how the iDJ is any different from the new things where you can "scratch" on CDs, except iPods hold a lot more stuff. They can play AIFF/WAV and Apple Lossless. May be a little more convenient than vinyl.

iDJ is in fact worse than most CD decks and software such as traktor in that there is no pitch control capability. once numark or some other company somehow integrates that with the iPod, it's a whole different ballgame. iDJ is basically a fancy dock for two iPods.

Hopefully the entries are more entertaining than the obnoxious introduction with Callie Snow.
