Hey, do you guys remember that awesome online FPS Phosphor Alpha? Yeah, Nick Kang is back with Phosphor Beta - and this time it's got multiplayer.
Great work! But playing the networked version seems really slow. Eventually they'll perfect this and it will be the ultimate (for me at least) online time waster.

That's awesome. Sending it to my cubemates now. Carnage to ensue.

I'm amazed you can do that in Shockwave.
You can do anything with Shockwave, or just about any other interpreted programming environment. The question is whether or not it will be fast enough to be useful. Based on this comment:

...it might not be (or their network handling routines suck, or they're running through an overloaded server.)

Killed my machine, alas. Even Half-Life worked on my older box. :(

Excellent, excellent! I'm really impressed. But I can't get any online servers--not so fun all by my lonesome. Is this a firewall issue or...?

zardoz, go into settings and play with bots for a bit, if you want.
