连环梦... (aka Kawa) "It might be an exit; It might be a trap; It might be just a dream." 连环梦 is a surreal point-and-click maze/puzzle from China, full of twists and unexpected turns. (note: flash)

I wish I knew what I was clicking on in the dialog boxes because whatever it is I'm choosing is the wrong one. But yeah! surreal for real.

I'm sorry, but my Chinese is rusty, so I didn't understand a fucking thing.

So as of right now, it's possible that most of those turns are very much expected, assuming you can read the Chinese box that says "Click here to make a large hand come out of the wall, or click the other one if you want the screen to be devoured by scorpions."

The first box simply says, "Every place can be an exit; every place can be a trap; every place can be a dreamscape allowing you to wander back and forth."

Btw, in the beginning when an eye appears and there are strange whisperings, does the last part sound coherent to anyone? I keep hearing four letters, but that might just be because my mind's biased in a certain way. So I want to see what other people hear.

I think you kind of have to be a Chinese for this one.

Reminds me of the movies Cube and Cube 2:Hypercube.

I have no idea what was going on at all. But when the white figure came running at the screen, I felt threatened. Maybe I'mn not cut out for surrealism.

So the man runs at the screen and explodes or hangs himself or shoots the big man who falls on him ...does he go anywhere interesting?

I don't know. Running at the screen and exploding himself isn't interesting enough for you?

crunchland; I find it somewhat lacking in thrill or frustration
and was wondering; as I reached said stages very quickly; if there was something I was missing, being that my mandarin is not too hot and my reading of it zero.

Fear not. I'll be posting another game tonight ... this time, in english, and maybe you'll find it a little more engaging. Or maybe the one I post tomorrow night ... or the next one, or the next one ....

...or don't.

I like it when the dialogue box appears, and since I have no idea what either of the two options mean, or how they might affect the future, I pick one more or less at random. Kinda like my life lately, come to think of it.

(I was hoping for the scorpions.)
