An interesting place to work, especially for the Fox Mulders among us. (via null device) Oddly enough, the first time I tried to post this, my PC crashed. . . *X-Files theme*

That was a pretty interesting article. I was curious to see what it looked like from overhead, so I hit the terraserver to see if I could find it. I popped open a couple of topographic maps, and with a lot of squinting and references, I found this. Hopefully the link works. You can zoom out from the location to get a better perspective of where it's located.

Everyone knows the lyrics to the X-Files theme, right?

Wow. Interesting article, and further proof of just how much money the US government wastes. It's bad enough that miles of the best networking cable was installed, but the fact that it all was abandoned just shows how much waste there is. Add to that underground tunnels and white noise generators, all abandoned. I wonder how much this "experiment" costs us tax payers.

I am sure all these expenses found their way back to the economy. Lest we forget, Tang was invented for NASA.

I'm sure NSA supporters would argue that the costs of not fully funding NSA programs and facilities is much higher.
