His 15 minutes are up but he must be regretting them now. His fans are rooting for him though.

I hope he applies to IND for a work permit and manages to stay - and anyway I'm sure they have bigger priorities there at the moment...

Deported? Lame, To get deported from the US you've really got to fuck up, like get arrested or something.

You're kidding, right? Do you know anything about immigration law?

monju_bosatsu, I would assume delmoi was talking about enforcement of immigration law.

Yeah, cmon. US immigration law is really straightforward these days, jeez.

God, if only he'd been interviewed on the Home Office's recent cock-up frenzy.

deported from the US? sheesh

I assume they were expressing surprise that this sort of thing would get you deported from the UK.

There was an ad for Conservative T-Shirts on that page. I thought it was pretty funny. Very attractive model in their ad too. Figures.

When I was in London we were friends with a S African guy who went out to buy cigarettes one day - and never came back as he was stopped by the police and deported on the next flight out of Heathrow to Joberg.

Banished considering its a Moonie rag that's probably not too surprising.

I feel sorry for Guy. I didn't watch that video for the longest time, but when I did, I could see that he was put in a tough place and just made the best of it he could. Hope things work out for him.

I still can't get enough of the face he makes when he realizes he has been mistaken for someone else. I wonder if he made that same face when they told him he was going to be deported?

From the Guy Goma Website:

May 25 15.03 - Guy Goma has asked Kizzi Nkwocha to impart the following message: "Please let your site visitors know that his mmigration status was clarified some three years ago and he is free to live (and work) indefinitely in the UK. He also wanted to thank everyone that's expressed support - especially through your site." So there ya go folks!

Seems like a non-story?
