Swarm shows you what websites people are visiting, right now. Although they appear to be migrating servers at the moment. And, in order for it to work as thought out, you do have to share some amount of your browsing activity (anonymously).

So maybe you could have waited to post when the website was back on-line so that we could actually look at it?

a link to a site that you KNEW wasn't working...hmmmm...this will probably not go well....

If folks like this...here's a bunch of 404 pages to check out...

Yeah, I'm sorry, but I thought this was lame the first time I saw it, when it 404'd from the digg link.

Is it a good time to ask whether websites that are designed to help us browse all the same websites are a good thing? And even if they are, whether we have enough of them yet?

Jepler has a point. I'd rather find the websites I don't, but should, visit, rather than the sites everyone visits.

Bangin' Becky seems popular today (Never seen this before, I swear. No, really.)

NO SHIT. The internet really is for porn.

So let's see, this only works if everyone uses it but people won't use it because there aren't enough people who give a damn?

Neato.

Christ at least somebody admit swarm is a cool name for a new UAV technology? Perhaps using magnets and other infernal devices to detect other craft as they fly in a bloody great flock or something.

Mmmm... at least now I can find out what porn sites people are visiting. Dansdaily and Bangin Becky are particularly popular. I've installed the plugin, at any rate, so now the world can see that I visit *.metafilter.com several times a day. :)

Seems like everyone is visiting only about 10 sites

Internet is for PORN!!

But seriously, if they allowed for an adult filter it would be a pretty cool clicktrance inducing site.

My wife and I both have the plugin installed. We spent way too long trying to find each other's screenshot. No luck.
