Music video gems and reviews from the spandex era. It's called trashfan although not all of it is trash (Springsteen). But some stuff definitely deserves to be there (Shalamar? Colonel Abrams? Pepsi & Sherley? Eew). And yes, I used to have Junior's "Mmmmmmama used to say" 45 rpm. And you know you liked it too!

I'm strongly recalling why I hated the 80s.

Yeah, well, they said the 70's sucked too, but then Ashton Kutcher came on with that Ukranian chick and they made it all cool again. So, there.

Oh man...the TT hair...I hate to be the one to admit it, but not only do I know how she did her hair that way...I did my hair like that more than once.

What's worse, I bet I still have the clips in a box in a closet somewhere. You know, in case I ever have the burning desire to do it again. I have shoulder pads too, should anyone need some. Cause ya know what made a blue poofy long pseudo-mohawk super cool? Shoulder pads. Totally.

I don't see why it's so hard to understand that for all the 'bad' a certain decade produces, there's an equal (and sometimes larger) amount of 'good.' I enjoyed much of the music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s...each having their fair share of piss-poor music.

I feel certain the 90s and 00s will be viewed in the same light.

Seeing a site with wads and wads of 80's stuff makes me feel really nostalgic and melancholic.

That's funny. It makes me want to kick puppies.

Oh sweet, The Thompson Twins and those weird haircuts they had. I feel a trip to Amazon/eBay to hoover up some cheap best-of compilations is in order. They'll probably be rubbish but, well, it might be good to hear them again. Might.

The 80's were a BLAST, but only if you were already an adult at the time.
All you kids were too young and stupid to appreciate anything except the messianic arrival of Jesus Cobain.

I turned 18 in 1982. I don't think the 80s were a blast.
