A Week of Kindness is an online sketch comedy group; among their bits, I found Nature Footage: The Musical to be the most amusing (albeit, a bit of a one note symphony).

Is there a term for comedy that you enjoy on one level because it's a clever conceit but hate on another because it's not actually funny?

I should know better than to ever post anything I find amusing (even mildly) to Metafilter, the urge to chime in an point out how unfunny it is is a seemingly overpowerful human driver.
