Huh, I remember when pixeljam was nothing more than this, years ago. Good to see they're doing new stuff.

Er, I can't get it to do anything. "Start" greys out info, "info" greys out start, and once you've clicked either of them nothing works.

That was pretty cool.

I didn't see much in the way of instructions, but I didn't look too hard.

Arrow keys move, WASD shoots, Robotron style.

Very fun, thanks.

Took me a couple minutes to figure out that arrow keys move, while WASD shoots in all four directions. It's sort of like a cross between Robotron and Galaga.

handee, hit enter. It stumped me for awhile too.

Like Space Invaders with two full dimensions of freedom

Ah - figuring out the WASD gun controls makes it much more playable. Great fun and that was a brilliant intro sequence, too. Not quite as good as Llamatron in the Robotron-inspired stakes, though.

Too slow, takes too long. No pause means that I can't grab a phonecall or anything...

klangklangston, the Info section tells you that Spacebar pauses the game.

Last week, in the US, I saw an advert for a handheld gizmo using the slogan "It's not a cellphone: it's MySpace on the go." It's a terrifying first - a new gadget I know I'll never want to buy. I've never felt so lost.

For some reason, when I think "new gadget I know I'll never want to buy," I think "strap-on dildo."

Wow, too bad this is one of the greatest flash games I've ever seen! Thanks! I played for about 1300 seconds on the timer, past the second boss (the little robot alien) but died while writing this comment because it detected my spacebar press and unpaused. ARRGH

oops, wrong thread!

personal favor: can you tag these posts "flash" - it's how i look for cool games? ;)

lovely progression of difficulty.
it ramps up gradually with lots of tiny things each of which feels easily surmountable (e.g. the bad guys take 2 hits to kill now, or they shoot back now, etc.) but the accumulation of these things in combination eventually makes it wicked hard.
