There's lots more wacky stuff about the Scientology cult to be found at Operation Clambake. This 'religion' would be laughable if it didn't claim quite so many members and didn't behave quite so appallingly.

Because of the pressure, legal and otherwise, that they can bring to bear upon anyone who laughs at (questions, criticizes) them.
