D'oh. That should have read, "Lore Sjoberg's", with a link and all.

These primary source videos are great as a cross-species comparison, but could we see some control groups and some links to studies and papers on sleep as well? And maybe some papers on the biological and chemical mechanism involved in sleepiness? I think that would make the FPP more useful.

because everything is cuter when you slip it a roofie, just ask my prom date.

So sleepy. I want a nap. *snozzrz*

Or:

I have no idea how these people get roofies wedged into their cats, or why.

Out in the real world, that meercat and his entire colony would've been hyena chow. Zoobie.

There's not a whole lot better in life than cats on the verge of falling asleep.

These posts with multiple links about the same topic are ruining Metafilter.

This whole fpp business is getting a little stale as well. Why it had to happened after I paid my euro I have no Idea.

I thought the same thing, maryh. Those were some tame, comfortable animals.

But sooo cute. Where do I get me a baby monkey?

Birdy song warning would have been appreciated!

Otherwise, I think I'll just take a nap.

asok: agreed the birdy song detracted from the utter loveliness of the snuggly lickle aminals. Cute.

Just for the record, I don't mind Mefi being used as YouTube Filter, to a degree. Sorting through the mountains of crap on YouTube itself is unbelieveably tedious, and the best of it keeps showing up here. That said, there are limits.

The 'so' link was my favorite as well. I just wish they had let the camera run a bit longer, you just know that eventually that cat fell over backwards.

I don't know. Why are people filming a monkey that eats its own cum? I guess it is the circle of life.

The ASPCA may need to work with the people who invented the portable roofie testing device.

Zoned out and dreaming hamster in very funny REM mode.

Duckling, dog, snoring chihuahua...all zonked.

In a rush to get into bed? 2 seconds to get undressed.

If you fall asleep in Japan this will happen to you.

nlindstom I like that they maintained eye contact, very sexy.. they should have hug after though.

I thought the link labeled 'why' was funny because the people in the background were yammering on about their George Foreman grill, and it was almost like the dog (and person holding the camera) was trying to say, "OMG you people are boring me to death, I can't even stand up straight."
