When cloning someone else's content goes wrong?

Some are cute but most are creepy as hell. Reminds me of the hybrid animals in Oryx and Crake: wolvogs, chickinobs, pigoons, rakunks. And stealing isn't nice.

Seriously, where you too lazy to look up the original Worth 1000 thread? Why drive traffic to a leech?

hey why not tell the RIAA they might take worth1000.com under their protective wings. seriously, it's just a collection of images that are still tagged with worth1000.com. nobody's doing anyone any harm.

namagomi: Because images aren't music? Although, I did try to play a .jpg in Winamp once.

Once.

As Loverboy sang, pig and elephant DNA just won't splice.

I'm just disappointed that none of these had multiple asses.

Woo, a single Worth1000 contest, except you can't see the full-size originals. Best of the web for sure.

I would like to take that Huskephant to the dog park near me where the no-neck with the Canary Island Fighting Dog shows up just to piss people off.

jepler's link was better. Brutal, but true.

I LOVE THOSE ANIMALS!

Those are the most beautiful and disturbing hybrids I can imagine. They're so novel, they're so terrifying, they're so conflicted. Can you think of the behaviour, the mannerisms of those creatures? I mean, does the eagle-dog screech or bark? Does he still have flying instincts? Does the cat-squirrel chase mice or nuts? Is he affectionate or is he skittish? And this poor, poor, sad, cold gorilla-dog...

SomethingAwful held three Photoshop Phridays to create "animal anomalies." (One, two, three)

I love this concept. I wish I could adopt some of those animals.

There's no call to go messing with the Siberians. That's like defacing fine art.

From what i know, they orignally come from here
posted by lemonfridge at 5:13 PM on August 25, 2006

No, they come from Worth1000, a website that hosts photoshop contests. That's why the Worth1000 stamps on all the images.

The difference between Worth1000 and the ones on humandescent.com is that the ones on Worth1000 are really good photoshopping.
