I always wondered why waste money on those stupid signs in an election. Now we know. You can hold them up against anything you disagree with so they don't get on the front page of the newspapers. That also explains why the election campaigns also purposefully make the stupid signs as gaudy and annoying as possible. Photojournalists would never take pictures where those stupid signs are. If someone dares to use your politician's blatant attempts at abusing fair speech by upstaging him, just plaster the guy with ugly stupid signs. No more first ammendment. It's a brilliant idea, actually. I'm gonna go make my own stupid signs and hire a dozen guys to follow me around, and then I can say anything I want and anyone who disagrees with me will just be paper mache'd with ZACHSMIND FOR AMERICA until they can't move. Then I can talk into microphones and video cameras with impunity about privatizing social security and building more casinos inside public schools. Insert maniacal laughter here.
