How long will it take us to crash it this time?

Remember RandomProxy? Its back up, in case you didn't notice it in your buddy list.

This post was deleted for the following reason: what are you doing? if this is metafilter related, post it to metatalk.

New things:

* Only four simultaneous conversations are being handled right now. Once the four slots are gone, the master bot ("RandomProxy") will set an away message.

* Only one message every two seconds per user will be fowarded. This is to prevent people from rate flooding the bot.

* Conversations are limited to 15 minutes, or 5 minutes of inactivity, whichever comes first.

So if the bot is away, on average you'll have to wait 7 minutes and 30 seconds, at which point (lots and lots) of people will message the bot simultaneously, and two people will be connected.

I'm going to register more screenames now.

Oh, and in case this isn't clear, one screename is used per conversation, as it's the only way to prevent AOL's rate limiting from kicking the bot off, while still passing messages in real time.

Yeah, I was playing around with it yesterday...pretty neat, and thankfully there was no "asl lol omg" on there yet.

Isn't this a self-link?

It's not a self link... It's my project, I put it on projects, and other people put it in the blue.
