please don't take this personally, but i don't get it. i mean --- i understand that bill was appointed to the niac by clinton, but what's the importance of bill gates being one of the appointees?

Well, different people have different takes on the thing.

My personal one is that I'm uncomfortable having the AntiChrist on any committee that's supposed to safeguard the country... but I'm sure you could find one or two people on here who think Windows NT is a pretty neat idea.
