Knitting Zombies

This old post aboutknitted brains got me thinking, they'd be a delicious treat for some knitted zombies, like the cast of Dawn of the Dead (or Shaun of the Dead). For those of you non-zombie *but still made of wool* types, there's this fine selection of knitted foods.
It's OK jonson, in your long marathon of excellent posts, a typo was bound to creep in eventually.
That said, would knitted zombies be even more afraid of fire than normal? I would think so. Because, you know, they would be so much more flammable.
And while we are on the subject, how does a knitted zombie become a zombie? Is it like a raggedy ann doll that was exposed to interstellar gamma radiation or something?
These are the kinds of questions that keep me up at night.

A friend of mine designed a really cool knitted pie. And there are some nice autumn-ish felted pumpkins on Knitty. You want more knitted foods? I got a million of these.

I love this stuff. I want to say "Great thread!" too, but I don't want to get into some kind of flame war with the embroidery folks.

Oh, jonson. that typo ruins your post. In fact, it's so egregious, you're now dead to me.
