U.S. sending Patriot missles to Israel Iraq moves troops close to Syrian border and announces it is a military exercise. The U.S. moves Patriot missle outfit to Israel with some troops and announces it is a military exercise. My trainer told me that sometimes you can overdo the exercising.

They performed pretty miserably during the Gulf War, when they were hastily reprogrammed as a theater defense weapon, but they've been improved since then.

The amazing thing about the Patriot (apart from how frequently people misspell "missile") is the fact that they're so suitable to software upgrades....

Yes, they weren't so fabulous in the Gulf War. No, that doesn't really matter.
