Incredible Mouth Band

The Incredible Mouth Band is the product of an idea. The idea was simple: Instead of people actually playing their instruments, why don't they just say their names out loud, to the rhythm of the music?

note: The organist tends to get a lil' creepy. Do not watch late at night if that kind of thing bothers you.

Obviously an instrumental song, since they didn't include 'vocals'.

Cute. I think parts of that were sampled and played on a keyboard, or maybe looped? I particularly liked the end "Fuzz from guitar amps....fading out...."

It looks like this was done by the folks behind fat pie, creators of some very odd animations, so frankly I'm surprised it isn't more creepy.

That fat pie stuff, that is truly bizarre.

But the videos of Shady Piez and Devvo are works of utter genius.

That Devvo is every Mancunian I ever met.

My favorite part is when they say the names of the instruments.

In the Who's "A Quick One (While He's Away)," that's John Entwhistle in the background repeating "cello cello cello cello" during one instrumental part...

Wow. That sucked until it got to shredding. Then it became awesome.

This has also been done by straight edge pioneers Jud Jud.

I wish it had either been really weird and funny or a really good song. I kinda kept waiting for it to get awesome.
