This American Life

Radio Lab! Already listened to everything This American Life offers or maybe looking for something a bit smarter and full of science? Maybe you'll like Radio Lab. Maybe you'll like the mind-blowing and historically expanding episode on music. Maybe older history is your cup of tea -- how about biblical times and how they sit in shoeboxes in Oxford. A stack of shows available via podcast, MP3 download (and some .RAM, sorry).
I JUST heard this for the first time last week, and it was riveting! And I'm not even a science nerd, I'm a pop culture junkie - yet, I was completely entertained! Awesome, thanks.

RadioLab is fantastic. There was a good article on hosts Robert Krulwich and Jad Abumrad last week in the Washington Post.

RadioLab was broadcast here in Chicago several months ago - I'm not sure what the context was. It was an amazing program and it's always great to hear Krulwich.
I wrote to them immediately saying that I wish they'd offer a podcast or some other means of online distribution. Great to see that realized now.
I've downloaded the MP3 files from the podcast but am a bit bummed that many episodes are only available in Real. Why does anyone still use that crap?

Radio lab is great - if only they'd produce more shows per season! I'm tired of waiting for new ones!

As aladfar mentions, season 2 (2006) is available in its entirety as high-quality, full-length, downloadable MP3s on the feed page.
