My favorites (that I hadn't seen before) were the ECVP illusion and the #12 you mentioned. However, the latter one was so small and grainy that I made a new one in Photoshop (self-link, obviously).

Print out "Dr. Angry and Mr. Smile" 8" x 10", hang it on a wall, and have someone walk toward it from across a room. That's when you get the full effect.

Martinrebas, that looks really cool.

Does anybody know if the reversible rotating illusion has a name? The closest match that I can find is the wagon-wheel effect, but it doesn't sound quite the same to me.
