Good for getting stoned.

Eh, I always took this kind of style for granite.

Attractive soft rock

This post is full of schist.

On second thought, I think it's rather gneiss.

Would it be igneous to call them cushions?

Shouldn't there be some sort of warning on a link that threatens to expose us to Simply Fucking Red?

Sorry, I don't know enough about stones to make an hilarious pun.

Very gneiss.

I wonder if they make a stone's throw pillow

They'd go really well with lava lamps.

Depending on your angle of repose, I imagine that thing would make a pretty comfortable bed rock.

With pillow lava.

Hmmm... do I have the stones to remodel my house in a way that would suit using these chairs...?

Actually, I do. They'd be awesome in my bamboo-floored, cedar-ceilinged, vista-revealing windowed livingroom.

My god, I am so fortunate.

Dinette set, slightly used.

I think it's a fun design idea; but, I wouldn't want to keep it all looking clean and 'new.' Still, it's easy to imagine oneself relaxing among the boulders, composing belles letters on panda poo paper...

I doubt I could afford a set, but I might pick some up if they ever go on shale.

I prefer furniture in boulder colors.

I think the practice of decorating your home like this is so sacky. The Japanese have been doing this for ages.

How revolushaleary. A bean bag.

In all seriousness, I have been jealous of lichen for years. Just sittin on rock, being a lichen. If I could be anything other than human it would be lichen. Just sitting there on a rock.

If there's only one bacterial stone symbiont you go with next lifetime, choose the right one, choose plate fungus.

Would TV trays ruin the effect? probably, huh.
Ooh! There should be a mock comfy recliner hewn from granite in the room.

The trick is finding the one that's actually a real rock...
posted by logicpunk at 7:52 PM on November 23, 2006

That shouldn't be too hard. In fact, it's sedimentary, my dear logicpunk.
