Mr. CityMen is a series of five evocative animation/live action Quicktime shorts by Eric Lerner, including Mr. Deja Vu, Mr. Fortune, Mr. Afraid of Anything But Heights, Mr. Sunken and my fave, Mr. Dreamer, bouncing around the beautiful urban decay.

Wow, those are great. A nice update on the Mr. Men books. Mr. Sunken sort of fits my mood today. Thanks for the link.

I love this genre of bleak-trancy--surreal-urban films that seem to pop up every once in a while.

Yeah I remember seeing Mr. DeJa Vu somewhere, but haven't seen the rest. Really cool little movies, thanks.

Is it bad that I identify with Mr. Deja Vu most?

I really liked the music in Mr. Fortune, BTW...

Wow, these are fantastic. Everything - the animation, the music, the cinematography - is just astonishingly well done, and well-suited to the character. Great post!
