Does that mean Andy Stewart's White Heather Club is cancelled?

Praise be to God!

Got tickets for the Edinburgh do, but think i'll give it a miss. It's howling a gale through here too.

Still Game beckons.

i can't believe they're canceling--isn't it bad luck or something? What about indoor stadiums or convention centers?

... The Scottish nation is falling out of love with Hogmanay, a festival traditionally far more important than Christmas. ...

Cheer up, at least you're missing Sandi Thom.

Belfast's new year celebration concert has been cancelled too.

Northern Ireland even got a mini-tornado today, wow.

I'm hoping there's no 80mph winds on Tuesday morning when I'm supposed to be flying out of here!

Oh, just read Edinburgh's Hogmanay event is the latest to fall victim to our glorious weather system.

Well, if you do insist on living beyond the edge of the universe (ie north of Watford Gap).

Happy new year, children of Mathowie everywhere.

Here's hoping someone tall, male and dark haired first foots your threshold this year. ;)
