Am I supposed to say "Meh" here, hm?
Just to keep the tags accurate, y'know!

"Gooogie is a site that has no connection to Google.

It is meant as a bit of fun by allowing people to create a "GooogIe cannot find..." type of page that looks similar to Google."

Yup - a worthwhile pursuit. As if there wasn't enough confusion for all the poor netnewbs with spoofed sites and the like, now we have to spoof their searches.

I definitely say Meh.

But yeah, "bushwhacking self-godwinizing pinko commie blogyuppies" == "Metafilter" is kinda funny. Ish.

Oh come on. Can none of you see the humor in this? I'm sure all of us know at least one friend who deserves a spoofed search result.

humor for laughing?

Shit, I messed it up. Did I mean humor for laughing?

Y'know how you can get a real feeling of embarrassment from something that you shouldn't really care about? No? Oh.

With the help of an IT peon, I once redirected 1/3 of the office workstations' google searches to a page that displayed one of three "your search cannot be completed" google-esque pages that gave various reasons; the most successful suggested that the block of IP addresses in question was under investigation in a criminal investigation. This worked best, as some targets went to neighbors to try searching on their machine, and were successful -- suggesting it was the IP address of the target only that was under investigation.

Good times, good times. One person didn't have the nerve to say anything to anyone, and only (finally!) timidly asked the IT person to look into it two months later -- and had just skipped googling for the duration.

er, suggested that the block of IP addresses OF THE SEARCHER was under investigation -- doesn't make sense without that bit

This is kinda cute. It won't last once the trademark lawyers have a fit, but...

I'd just like to point out that mean is a verb, not a relative pronoun.
