IUMA has been "forced to scale operations to the bare minimum." Maybe they shouldn't have used all that funding money on iuma babies.
If I'm gonna name my kid after a dot-com, then I'm gonna name my kid Fucked Company ...if it's a boy.
If it's a girl I'd probably just go with Jennifer or Sarah.

I'm personally sad to see IUMA go, as it was one of the many old-school music sites that was purchased and then ruined (Addicted to Noise) or just folded up (Consumable Online, the best music reviews). Even the "asinine cynics" at FuckedCompany lamented it's passing.

I wonder why so many of the babys are from Texas? 4 out of 10 seems a bit odd....

Texas has a grand tradition of embarrassing names, viz, Ima Hogg. (But it's an urban legend that she had a sister named Ura.)

All babies are unattractive. They have no chins. It's a survival feature. (Makes it easier to nurse.) But to saddle a child with that name. . . oy.

Well, nobody is forcing you to use your first name. I'll bet all these kids are called by their middles.

Speaking of wacky names, there was a girl who went to school with my mom named Ima Gay Nutt. Poor girl.

Poor kids... I mean, it's bad enough to be named after your grandparents or something, but a failed dot-com?
