I don't understand the compelling urge
to festoon various jazz related advertising
with leroy neiman esque artwork.
It's quite tiresome really, almost as tiresome
as the playboy jazz festival.

Wish they had more love for singers, though. Some people think jazz music doesn't ever need words though. (Unless they're sung by Carmen, Ella, Billie or Sarah.) But I mean, come on... Anita O'Day at Newport!
