Oh nice. Another idea that might sell even better here on the internets is Child Predator Credits.

Write me for my special MetaFilter rate on carbon credits. And indulgences. . . . I am also selling forgiveness for your non-environmental sins.

What an utter load of crap.
I have found that my carbon footprint is half what the average family in the UK is. I will offset your carbon emissions by transferring my carbon debit to you by certificate for one year. If the bidding goes over $10,000 I will salvage my SUV and buy a vehicle that is more planet friendly. Good luck!

Carbon selling on EBay is a great idea!!!!!
ohhh lets take it one step further.......

For sale: 1 litre of yellow water that has been cleaned via my digestive system. Price $5500. In addition, I promise only to have a 1 min and 55 second shower every 3 days for a period of 1 month. Hurry offer ends as soon as my B.O becomes to an environmental disaster.

Please only those people who want to put money ahead of saving our environment apply for this great offer.

This is stupid. Incidentally, these are carbon offsets (sold by untrustworthy idiots), not carbon credits, I believe.
